Our Favorite Restaurants
The sun sets early in the tropics, so we recommend that you make reservations for early enough to be back at the condo before it gets too dark and hard to see, since there are very few streetlights.
DINNER
AMA on Cane Bay
AMA on Cane Bay is Lisa's favorite restaurant. Sitting outside to catch the beautiful sunset, with the mountains and ocean as a backdrop, is a simply breathtaking experience. The entrees are the best! Make a reservation, arrive early, and have a drink at the Sunset Bar.

Duggan's Reef at Teagues Bay
Duggan's Reef at Teagues Bay is a family owned restaurant that has been in business since 1983. They have fresh catch and fresh vegetables every day, sourced from local farms and fishermen. They are on the waterfront and it's gorgeous! They are typically booked about four days in advance.
Closed Sundays. Open Monday - Saturday 5:30 -8:00 pm for dinner.

Harbor Prime STX
Harbor Prime STX is situated on the Boardwalk downtown Christiansted. They are known for their lobster and the beautiful setting. They are also the same owners of AMA.
Open M-F 11-3 for lunch and 5-10 for dinner; and Sat-Sun 10-3 for lunch and 5-10 for dinner.

Savant
Savant has a beautiful outdoor dining area, but if a humid day, I'd recommend indoor dining. The experience is very nice, and the food is amazingly delicious. Savant features an eclectic mix of Caribbean, Asian, & Mexican fusion. They are consistently rated one of the Top 50 Restaurants in the Caribbean since 1998.

BREAKFAST
Toast Diner
Toast Diner is known for its rum-cake French toast; I personally love the Veggie Lovers Scramble with a Caribbean Sunrise Cocktail. It is super popular, so plan to get there early. Like at opening time. When you eat in St. Croix, you must visit here at least once. The Venezuelan fare and funky diner is their signature motto, but you just have to look at the ratings on GoogleMaps to see the truth too.

Polly's at the Pier
Polly's is a really popular spot in Frederiksted, serving a fresh menu and veggie options as well as juices and housemade teas. Because it is so popular, it can be busy, but the service is quick and friendly and the food is worth it.
LUNCH
Brew STX
For lunch on the waterfront of Christiansted, Brew STX is St. Croix's only restaurant and microbrewery located on the beautiful boardwalk in downtown Christiansted. The menu features upscale pub fare including daily fresh local fish, Caribbean-style tacos, surf & turf dinners, regionally famous brussel sprouts, and many vegetarian and vegan options including build your own salads.

Beach Side Cafe at Sandcastle on the Beach
Sandcastle's food and service are as spectacular as the view from the al fresco dining room. Open M-F 11-8:30, and Sat/Sun 10-3 for lunch and 4:30 - 8:30 for dinner.

Maria's Cantina
Maria's Cantina serves Mexican food with an island flair. The place is always busy and the food is both beautiful and yummy. Closed Sunday and Monday. Open Tues-Sat 11-9.
